Tuesday Night Baseball

I just got done with the Nettleton/South Pontotoc game. Tigers take it, 6-5. South committed five errors, four of them over the first two innings, and fell behind 5-0. Hunter Richardson had 12 strikeouts and got the win for Nettleton.

And according to tcfan, Tishomingo County pummeled New Albany 12-1. Ten-runned ’em! Wow.

Tupelo remained undefeated with a 17-2 shellacking of Columbus. That’s 17-0 going into Thursday’s game with South Panola.

That’s all I’ve got right now. I’m sitting in the Pontotoc McDonald’s parking lot (wi-fi). Check the Journal or the Web site for details.

I was at the Nettleton/South Pontotoc game it was disappointing, South had their best catcher playing SS, their SS at 2nd, their 2nd baseman at 3rd and their centerfeilder at catcher. I was proud of them for not laying down but thats not helping them in the division. Hunter struggled at times but did a great job keepin the ball down and away from the hitters.
