Prentiss-Union Clash

Here is the link to my story about the Prentiss County-Union County Clash, which is set for Jan. 31 at Baldwyn. They’ll match up the teams in December. I’m supposed to be on the committee. Hope they have free doughnuts or something.
Today’s question: Which county do you think will win the one-day tourney? Or will [...]

Found a cool story on the Cincinnati Bengals Web site about former Aberdeen standout Reggie Kelly. Aberdeen basketball coach Roy Hazzle was heavily quoted. Great stuff:

To review: Garrett, a junior quarterback at Tupelo, had committed to Mississippi State. Then yesterday, he changed his mind and committed [...]

Tuesday Night Baseball

I just got done with the Nettleton/South Pontotoc game. Tigers take it, 6-5. South committed five errors, four of them over the first two innings, and fell behind 5-0. Hunter Richardson had 12 strikeouts and got the win for Nettleton.
And according to tcfan, Tishomingo County pummeled New Albany 12-1. Ten-runned ‘em! Wow.
Tupelo remained undefeated with [...]
